AEROSMITH - Steven Tyler Involved In New Fashion Line?

According to NBC New York, WWD is reporting that AEROSMITH frontman and American Idol judge Steven Tyler will serve as the official muse for a new rock-'n-roll menswear line launching at Macy's this fall.

The Andrew Charles collection is being developed by Li & Fung Music Entertainment Sports Holdings (MESH) division. They're responsible for Jennifer Lopez' Kohl's line -- and Universal, with Tommy Hilfiger and Andy Hilfiger serving as partners.

An official announcement is expected in the next few days about Tyler's involvement, along with his 22-year-old daughter, Chelsea.

Aerosmith plan to reunite next month with veteran producer Jack Douglas to kick-start work on their long-delayed album. "Whole band has plans to go into the studio with Jack Douglas second week of July to work on new Aero CD," Perry said on Twitter.

The album will be recorded in the Massachusetts studio the band built six years ago expressly to work with Douglas, Perry said last month.

Douglas worked on such classic Aerosmith albums as 1974's Get Your Wings, 1975's Toys In The Attic, and 1976's Rocks. He worked with the band on its 2004 collection of blues standards Honkin' On Bobo.
